The TubeWear™ Gown gives caregivers open access to a G or J tube without the snaps and layers a bodysuit requires. It lays completely flat, so a newborn can be dressed without being lifted — which matters when there are lines, leads, and monitors involved.
The PediaPouch™ — a soft interior pocket lined with moisture-resistant fabric — keeps extension tubing gathered and off the mattress. The lining is there because tube sites leak. It keeps drainage off the cotton and off your baby's skin, and wipes out instead of soaking through.
Dual Arm Access™ opens along the inner seam of each sleeve, so an arm line, PICC line, or blood draw is reachable without pushing a sleeve up over a dressing.
RoutePoints™ — guides at the shoulder and lower back — direct extension tubing along the garment instead of letting it fall loose across the crib. They route the line. They don't hold it.
The open-bottom design means diaper changes don't require undoing the garment at all.
Every part of this was a problem first
Six of them, and the first is where the access sits: at the abdomen, directly over the tube site.
- A lined pocket, not a plain one. Moisture-resistant lining that wipes out instead of holding drainage against skin.
- Both sleeves open, not neither. An arm line is reachable without pushing fabric over a dressing.
- Guides for the run of tubing. Shoulder and lower back, so the line travels down and away instead of loose across the crib.
- Opens completely flat. Dress a child lying down. Nothing over the head, nothing lifted.
- Metal-free. Resin snaps only, so there are no metal fasteners in the garment. Follow your imaging facility's instructions for any MRI, CT, or X-ray.
- No velcro anywhere. Nothing to catch in the wash, snag a blanket, or roughen against skin.

Sizing and fit
Cut generously so it clears a dressing or a tube site without binding. If your child is between sizes, or wears a bulky dressing, size up.
All cotton is pre-shrunk, so the size you receive is the size it stays through repeated washing.

Care
Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats cotton fibers and reduces absorbency over time.
Snaps are resin rather than metal, so there is nothing to catch in the wash. Fit holds through repeated laundering.
These garments are made to be washed often. That is the point.
