Why parents choose TubeWear™

  1. Access the tube without undressing. A snap opening sits right at the G or J tube site.
  2. Keep extension tubing contained. The lined PediaPouch™ holds it close to the body, away from small hands.
  3. Dress your child without lifting or pulling clothing over the head. It opens completely flat.

Most families order two, so one is always clean.

Gown or bodysuit?

TubeWear™ Gown

Newborn–12M

Newborns and the weeks after a new tube placement. No elastic across the abdomen and nothing passing over the site, for easier abdominal access. The open bottom means a diaper change leaves the rest alone.

TubeWear™ Bodysuit

6M–5T

Active babies and toddlers. It stays in place when they roll and crawl, and the snap opening sits right at the tube site.

You're viewing this one.

Between 6 and 12 months, both fit. Choose by how much your baby moves.

  • Metal-free garment
  • Opens flat for dressing
  • Pre-shrunk cotton, machine washable

Getting to a G or J tube shouldn't mean undressing your child.

Two for $99 — through 31 October. Most families need more than one. Any two garments, mixed however you like across sizes, colorways, gowns and bodysuits. The discount applies automatically at checkout.

The TubeWear™ Bodysuit places a soft, snap-closure opening exactly where the tube sits, so feeds, flushes, and site checks happen without a full change of clothes. The PediaPouch™ interior pocket — lined with moisture-resistant fabric — holds extension tubing close to the body and away from curious hands.

The lining is there because tube sites leak. It keeps drainage off the cotton and off your child's skin, and wipes out instead of soaking through.

Dual Arm Access™ opens along the inner seam of each sleeve, so an arm line, PICC line, or blood draw is reachable without pushing a sleeve up over a dressing.

RoutePoints™ — guides at the shoulder and lower back — direct extension tubing along the garment instead of letting it fall loose. They route the line. They don't hold it.

It opens flat, which means you can dress your child by laying them down rather than lifting and threading arms — the difference between a two-person job and a one-person job.

Every part of this was a problem first

Six of them, and the first is where the access sits: at the abdomen, directly over the tube site.

  • A lined pocket, not a plain one. Moisture-resistant lining that wipes out instead of holding drainage against skin.
  • Both sleeves open, not neither. An arm line is reachable without pushing fabric over a dressing.
  • Guides for the run of tubing. Shoulder and lower back, so the line travels down and away instead of hanging loose where a toddler can reach it.
  • Opens completely flat. Dress a child lying down. Nothing over the head, nothing lifted.
  • Metal-free. Resin snaps only, so there are no metal fasteners in the garment. Follow your imaging facility's instructions for any MRI, CT, or X-ray.
  • No velcro anywhere. Nothing to catch in the wash, snag a blanket, or roughen against skin.

100% pre-shrunk cotton, not a poly blend.

Designed for

  • Children with G-tubes, GJ-tubes, or J-tubes
  • Everyday wear at home, not just hospital stays
  • Caregivers dressing a child solo

Before you order

Sizing and fit

Cut generously so it clears a dressing or a tube site without binding. If your child is between sizes, or wears a bulky dressing, size up.

All cotton is pre-shrunk, so the size you receive is the size it stays through repeated washing.

Care

Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats cotton fibers and reduces absorbency over time.

Snaps are resin rather than metal, so there is nothing to catch in the wash. Fit holds through repeated laundering.

These garments are made to be washed often. That is the point.

Shipping and returns

Free shipping within the USA. Ships from Kentucky within two business days.

Returns or exchanges within 30 days on unworn, unwashed items with tags attached. Because these garments are made for medically complex children, we cannot accept worn or soiled items for hygiene reasons.

Wrong size? See how to exchange it.

Questions about fit, or ordering for a hospital?

If you are unsure which size or which access style fits your child's situation, ask before you order. Describe the placement and we will tell you which garment works — or tell you honestly if neither does.
