TubeWear™ and LineWear™ solve a problem every caregiver of a medically complex child knows well: getting to the tube, port, or line means undressing the child. Every time. PediaTech Apparel eliminates that entirely.

The PediaPouch™

The PediaPouch is the interior pocket at the heart of every PediaTech garment. It holds what would otherwise dangle — gathered against the body, under the fabric, out of reach of small hands and away from bedding.

It is lined with moisture-resistant fabric. This is the part most adaptive clothing leaves out. Tube sites leak. Dressings seep. Connections drip. A plain cotton pocket absorbs all of it and holds it against the skin. The PediaPouch lining keeps drainage off the cotton and off your child, and wipes out rather than soaking through — which means fewer full outfit changes in a day that already has enough of them.

In TubeWear, the PediaPouch sits over the abdomen, positioned directly at the G or J tube site. Extension tubing rests inside it. A soft snap-closure flap opens for feedings, site checks, and dressing changes — then closes securely when care is complete.

In LineWear, the PediaPouch sits at the sternum for central line management. Lumens rest inside, gathered close to the body and away from grabbing hands and rolling bodies. The same snap-closure flap system opens for dressing changes and site access, then closes cleanly.

RoutePoints™

Holding the line is half the problem. The other half is the run between the child and the pump — the length that catches on a crib rail, a car seat buckle, or the edge of a changing table.

RoutePoints™ are single snaps at the shoulder and the lower back that guide tubing or monitor leads down and away from the front of the body. They close loosely around the line to direct it, not to hold it. A line routed behind a child is a line that is harder to find and harder to snag.

The line enters at the lower back, runs up the side, and passes under the shoulder. Both tabs guide it. Neither one grips it.

Dual Arm Access™

Both TubeWear and LineWear include Dual Arm Access™ — a soft snap opening running along the inner bend of each sleeve. It gives caregivers and clinicians clean access to the arm for peripheral IV lines, PICC lines, blood draws, and pulse oximetry — without pushing a sleeve up over a dressing or disturbing the child. No threading. No disruption.

Both sleeves open, not one. A line placed on either arm is reachable without deciding in advance which side a child will be accessed from, and without turning a child to get to the other arm.

Getting Dressed

Every PediaTech Apparel garment opens completely flat. Lay the garment open on a flat surface, lay your child on top of it, bring the sides up, and fasten the snaps. No lifting and threading arms through sleeves. No pulling anything over the head. No disturbing lines or tubes during the process.

What It Is — and What It Is Not

TubeWear™ and LineWear™ are textile garments, not medical devices. They are designed to support quality care and simplify daily life — not to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. The moisture-resistant lining is a fabric property, not a barrier system, and is not a substitute for a dressing. RoutePoints guide a line; they do not secure it. All garments are completely metal-free and safe for MRI, CT, and X-ray environments. All are 100% pre-shrunk cotton with resin snaps, machine washable, and tumble dry safe.

Choosing the Right Product

If your child has a G tube or J tube — choose TubeWear™.
If your child has a central line — choose LineWear™.
