Where does the line leave the body?
- TubeWear™ for G and J tubes. The PediaPouch™ sits over the abdomen, at the tube site. Gown Newborn–12M, Bodysuit 6M–5T.
- LineWear™ Chest Edition for central lines. The PediaPouch™ sits at the chest, at the exit site. Gown Newborn–12M, Bodysuit 6M–5T.
Everything else is common to both. Calm Mint Edition and Sky Lullaby Edition.
On every garment
PediaPouch™ — an interior pocket lined with moisture-resistant fabric, with a snap-flap that opens for feeds and site checks. The lining is there because sites leak, and a plain cotton pocket holds that against the skin.
RoutePoints™ — single snaps at the shoulder and lower back that direct tubing or leads down and away from the front of the body. They route the line. They don't hold it.
Dual Arm Access™ — a snap opening along the inner bend of both sleeves, so an arm line can be reached without pushing a sleeve up over a dressing. Both sleeves, so it does not matter which arm.
- Opens flat — lay the garment open, lay the child on it, fasten. Nothing passes over the head. Nothing has to be lifted or turned.
- Metal-free — resin snaps throughout. MRI and CT safe. Nothing to remove before imaging.
- No velcro anywhere — nothing to catch in commercial laundry, snag adjacent stock, or roughen against skin.
- 100% pre-shrunk cotton — no latex, no hook-and-loop, no metal. Machine washable at commercial temperatures; sizing holds through repeated laundering.
Who this is for
Parents and caregivers, first. Staff change shifts. Admissions end. You are the one who is there for all of it — often for years, through every size from newborn to 5T. These garments were designed for the version of this that happens at home, at 3 a.m., with one pair of hands and no one to help. You can buy them directly, without a prescription or a purchase order. Nursing and clinical staff. Access without undressing, on either arm, without disturbing a dressing. Nothing to remove before a scan. If it is easier to work with, tell us what would make it easier still — we would rather hear it now than after a production run.
Child life and family support. A garment that looks like clothing rather than equipment, and that lets a child be dressed without being lifted. Samples available for family resource programs and closets.
Social work and case management. No prescription, no prior authorization, no reimbursement paperwork. Families can obtain these directly at a price that sits well below durable medical equipment.
Gift shops and retail. The item a visiting grandparent can bring that actually helps. Keystone margin, low opening order, and no competing product on the shelf.
Distributors and group purchasing. A non-device textile with no procurement pathway required. Multi-location programs quoted individually.
Why the classification matters
These are textiles, not medical devices. That is a deliberate design decision, and it changes who can obtain them. There is no prescription, no reimbursement pathway, and no procurement approval required. They can be stocked anywhere apparel is stocked — including hospital gift shops, child life programs, and family resource centers — and a family can buy one on the way out of the infusion center.
At $59 retail, the garment sits in ordinary clothing price range rather than durable medical equipment range. That is also deliberate. A family managing a tube for three years should not be priced out of clothing.
