Start with one question: where does the tube or line leave your child's body?

At the abdomen (a G, J, or GJ tube): choose TubeWear™.
At the chest (a tunneled central line): choose LineWear™.

Then choose a gown or a bodysuit by your child's age and how much they move. Or use Find Your Garment.

Where the access sits. In TubeWear, the PediaPouch™ and snap opening sit over the abdomen at the tube site. In LineWear, they sit at the chest, where a central line exits.

Everything else is the same: the lined PediaPouch, RoutePoints™ at the shoulder and lower back, Dual Arm Access™ on both sleeves, and a garment that opens completely flat.

The gown suits newborns, the weeks after a new tube or line placement, and long hospital stays. It opens flat, has nothing tight across the body, and its open bottom means a diaper change leaves the rest of the garment alone.

The bodysuit suits active babies and toddlers. It stays in place when they roll and crawl.

Between 6 and 12 months both are available. Choose by how much your baby moves.

TubeWear: G-tubes, J-tubes, and GJ-tubes.
LineWear: Broviac®, Hickman®, and other tunneled central lines that exit at the chest.
Arm lines: every garment has Dual Arm Access™ on both sleeves for a PICC, a peripheral IV, a blood draw, or a pulse oximetry probe.

If your child's setup is different, describe it to us before you order. We will tell you which garment works, or tell you honestly if neither does.

The interior pocket built into every garment. It gathers extension tubing or central line lumens under the fabric, away from small hands and bedding. A snap flap opens it for feeds, flushes, dressing changes, and site checks without removing the garment. It is lined with moisture-resistant fabric that wipes out rather than soaking through.

Yes. Garments from our first production run carry our original label, SafeLine PediaWear, from before the company settled on PediaTech Apparel™. It is the same garment described on this site, made by the same people. Later runs carry the PediaTech Apparel label. If anything about your order looks wrong, contact us.

Use your child's age, height, and weight with the Sizing Guide. Every garment is cut generously to clear dressings, central line exit sites, and tube buttons.

If your child wears a dressing, or you are unsure, yes. Size up.

Choose the larger size. If height and weight point to different sizes, choose the larger of the two.

No. The cotton is pre-shrunk, so the size you receive is the size it stays through repeated washing.

Machine wash warm. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Softener coats cotton fibers and reduces absorbency over time.

Yes. Tumble dry low.

100% pre-shrunk cotton, not a poly blend. The PediaPouch™ is lined with moisture-resistant fabric, and the lining is laundering-safe.

Resin. There are no metal fasteners anywhere in the garment, and no velcro, so there is nothing to catch in the wash or roughen against skin.

Yes. These garments are made to be washed often, including in commercial washers, and fit and fabric hold through repeated laundering. Most families order two, so one is always clean.

Yes. They are designed for use in hospitals, infusion centers, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities, as well as at home, and they can be laundered in commercial washers. The garments are not sterile. Always follow your facility's policies, including infection-prevention policies for patient clothing.

No. TubeWear™ and LineWear™ are textile garments, not regulated medical devices. They are designed to support care and simplify daily life, not to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. No prescription is required.

No. Every garment uses resin snaps, with no metal fasteners anywhere. Metal-free is a property of the garment, not clearance for imaging. It does not mean a garment can stay on for an MRI, CT, or X-ray. Imaging staff decide what a patient may wear, and their instructions always come first.

No. RoutePoints™ guide a line down and away from the front of the body. They route it; they do not hold or secure it. Follow your care team's instructions for securing any tube or line.

No. The moisture-resistant lining is a fabric property, not a barrier system, and is not a substitute for a dressing. Keep using the dressings and site care your care team prescribes.

Yes. Evaluation samples are available for nursing, child life, and family support teams, with no obligation to purchase. Request samples.

United States: shipping is free on every order, and orders ship from Kentucky within two business days.

International: we ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Central and South America, the Middle East, and much of Asia. Rates are calculated at checkout and start at $18 to Canada. Delivery typically takes 7 to 21 business days depending on destination and customs.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country. These are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient.

If you do not see your country at checkout, write to us — we can often arrange an order manually.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that are unworn, unwashed, and have tags attached. Because these garments are made for medically complex children, we cannot accept worn or soiled items for hygiene reasons. Full returns and exchange process.
