The LineWear™ Chest Edition Gown opens completely flat, so an infant with a central line can be dressed without being lifted, turned, or threaded through sleeves. The PediaPouch™ interior chest pocket — lined with moisture-resistant fabric — keeps lumens gathered and off the bedding. Snap flaps give access to the site without taking the gown off at all.
The lining is there because sites weep and connections drip. It keeps that off the cotton and off skin that has already had enough tape on it.
Dual Arm Access™ opens along the inner seam of each sleeve, so an arm line, PICC line, or blood draw is reachable without pushing a sleeve up over a dressing.
RoutePoints™ — guides at the shoulder and lower back — direct lumens along the garment instead of letting them fall loose across the crib. They route the line. They don't hold it.
The open-bottom cut means diaper changes leave the rest of the garment undisturbed.
Every part of this was a problem first
Six of them, and the first is where the access sits: at the chest, where a central line actually exits.
- A lined pocket, not a plain one. Moisture-resistant lining that wipes out instead of holding drainage against skin.
- Both sleeves open, not neither. An arm line is reachable without pushing fabric over a dressing.
- Guides for the run of the line. Shoulder and lower back, so lumens travel down and away instead of loose across the crib.
- Opens completely flat. Dress a child lying down. Nothing over the head, nothing lifted past their own line.
- Metal-free. Resin snaps only, so there are no metal fasteners in the garment. Follow your imaging facility's instructions for any MRI, CT, or X-ray.
- No velcro anywhere. Nothing to catch in the wash, snag a blanket, or roughen against skin.

Sizing and fit
Cut generously so it clears a dressing or a tube site without binding. If your child is between sizes, or wears a bulky dressing, size up.
All cotton is pre-shrunk, so the size you receive is the size it stays through repeated washing.

Care
Care
Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats cotton fibers and reduces absorbency over time.
Snaps are resin rather than metal, so there is nothing to catch in the wash. Fit holds through repeated laundering.
These garments are made to be washed often. That is the point.

Returns or exchanges within 30 days on unworn, unwashed items with tags attached. Because these garments are made for medically complex children, we cannot accept worn or soiled items for hygiene reasons.
